U.S. Rep. Dan Burton Rips McNamee

The HGH Scandal has been raging this week, with Roger Clemens at the center of a lot of the attention. The most damning evidence against Clemens came from testimony by former major league trainer Brian McNamee.

Rep. Burton challenged Brian McNamee about statements he made in prior testimony where he denied any knowledge of steroid or HGH use.

"Is that a lie?" Burton asked McNamee on several occasions.

"Yes," McNamee finally responded.

"You're here as a sworn witness," Burton told McNamee. "You're here ... after telling lie after lie after lie after lie. ... I don't know what to believe. ... I know one thing I don't believe and that's you."

He further went on to say that Roger Clemens was a "titan" of baseball and that McNamee was causing damange to Clemen's reputation by his lies.
