Four shot dead in Sacramento home

Four people died in a shooting discovered Monday in a home on Sacramento's southern outskirts, investigators said.

One child was still alive when Sacramento County sheriff's deputies entered the home and was transported to a nearby hospital, according to KCRA-TV, Sacramento.

Deputies said the circumstances surrounding the shooting were still under investigation and the identities of the victims were not being immediately released.

Relatives went to the home to check on the residents Monday morning and found the two adults and three children inside.
