The Best Way to Lower Stomach Fat

Quite a few of us find fighting the battle of the bulge a daunting and challenging task. The ideal situation would be to prevent it altogether by ensuring that adipose tissue just does not accumulate on the lower stomach, which is one of the places it loves to find itself. Excess lower stomach fat can prove detrimental to the health. Losing it may prove tough but not impossible to achieve.

The ideal way is to go for a diet that is low in fat and combine it with a meticulous regime of regular exercise. The risk of getting diabetes is associated with excess lower stomach fat that is responsible for insulin resistance. The thing with stomach fat is that it has a way of getting stuck and refuses to budge once it has found this place to settle-in!
Excess stomach fat is considered to be more dangerous and detrimental to the health as it can expose you to a whole lot of dangerous ailments, like an increased risk of heart disease and some types of cancer. In fact it is considered to be more dangerous to have excess stomach fat than it is to have excess adipose on the thighs and buttocks.

Stress is a condition that can aggravate and contribute to excess stomach fat, often caused by factors such as an inadequate diet that lacks wholesomeness and good nutrition, combined with a sedentary lifestyle and insufficient exercise.

Tight, flat abs that appears like a six-pack will show better when extra lower stomach fat is shed. Building more lean muscle with regular cardiovascular exercise and regular eating is one way of effectively reducing lower stomach fat. Regular running can burn up stomach fat successfully.
To burn more calories, try getting more active by walking instead of driving short distances and using the stairs instead of the elevator. Shedding stomach fat depends a lot on the percentage of your body fat and genetic factors.

Exercise can give you strong abs, but sit-ups and workouts will prove futile and counterproductive if you are consuming a fat rich diet. The ideal diet for losing lower stomach fat is one that has foods with a low glycemic index, and contains vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, yogurt and milk. Avoid colas, candy, desserts and caffeinated drinks because they have a high glycemic index. Most people who are on a fitness regime give top priority to losing lower stomach fat. An hour of cardiovascular exercise and half-an-hour of weight lifting done 3-5 times a week will also successfully reduce stomach fat.
Losing lower stomach fat requires both commitment in terms of time and discipline, with self-motivation playing a major role in making you look younger and attractive, and boosting your self-esteem and confidence.
