Oil prices slide under $45 per barrel
LONDON (AFP) --
World oil prices sank under 45 dollars per barrel in London on Wednesday, their lowest level since February 2005, as concerns mounted about weakening global energy demand, traders said.
In afternoon deals on London's InterContinental Exchange (ICE), Brent North Sea crude for delivery in January sank as low as 44.87 dollars a barrel.
