Robert Plant Not Interested In Led Zeppelin Tour - Album
LONDON, England Dec.5 (TOTI) --

Robert Plant, the former singer for the iconic rock band Led Zeppelin, isn't interested in putting out a new album and launching a concert tour with his band mates, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and replacement drummer, Jason Bonham.

Led Zeppelin formally disbanded in 1980 after John Bonham, Jason Bonham's father and the original drummer for the band, died after drinking heavily and choking on his own vomit.

Hopes that Led Zeppelin would reunite were fueled by a one- time benefit concert that took place in December 2007. This one time show was held in memory of music executive Ahmet Ertegün and raised funds for the Ahmet Ertegün Education Fund.

Prior to the reunion concert, Robert Plant said, "The whole idea of being on a cavalcade of merciless repetition is not what it's all about."

Robert Plant has been involved in a number of solo projects and collaborations since Led Zeppelin split over 28 years ago. Most recently he toured with Alison Krauss. Their album Raising Sand received two Grammy nominations, one for Album Of The Year and another for Record Of The Year for their single Letter That I Wrote.

Page, Jones and Bonham still want to to tour and recently began searching for a replacement singer. A representative for Page's management company stated, "Whatever this is, it is not Led Zeppelin."
