Alli Sims Concerned About Britney Spears
Britney Spears one time pal, Alli Sims, is concerned about her friend and the changes that have taken place since her father, Jamie Spears, gained conservatorship over her earlier this year.
Adnan Galib wasn't the only friend that Jamie and Lynne Spears disallowed Britney from seeing. Sims tells In Touch magazine that she's no longer allowed to be friends with Britney, even though the pair used to be like "sisters."
Spears recently launched her new album Circus and has plans to begin a worldwide concert tour. Sims asked the tabloid, "How can they say Britney is sick and then shove her out on the road with all that pressure?"
According to Sims, Britney's parents labeled her an "enabler" after a number of very public breakdowns last year. She maintains that she got a bad wrap for being friends with Britney at this point in her life. She said, "I've been accused of so many things I didn't do. My reputation has been dragged through the mud."
Despite what's happened in the past, Sims says that she has Britney's best interest at heart. She continued, "I honestly didn't want to think this was all about money. I wanted to think that this was about a person's well-being. They claim she is unable to care of herself, but then they're pushing her to go back to work. This isn't part of her therapy. It's a world tour. It means she'll be waking up in a different city every day. It means she won't be able to see her children. And that will be heartbreaking for Britney."
There's no doubt that Britney is indeed, back to work. She's toned up and recently performed live at the Bambi Awards in Germany and on the UK's hit talent chow, X-Factor before returning to the United States to perform on Good Morning America on her 27th birthday, December 2.
Alli's concerns aren't unfounded. In her latest MTV documentary, Britney: For The Record Spears said, "I want to get married, have more babies and live on a deserted island."
