Bernie Ward was once a respected Radio talk-show host at HGO and now he's fighting child pornography charges for a "lapse in judgement" where he spent some time "chatting up" what he thought were teenagers in 2004.

Ward claimed he was doing research for a book when he used a paid chatroom to meet "Sexfairy." He began sharing and discussing sexually oriented photos, two of which were children ages 12 and 14.

After this happened, "Sexfairy" called authorities with the information. Police told her to continue conversing with him and to keep copies of their chat. At one point Ward asked "Sexfairy" if her could perform sexual acts in front of his children, or with a client, "Sexfairy" said "no."

Bernie Ward has plead "not guilty" to the charges. He was fired from his job last month.
