Kelly Ann Abdo Accused Of Having Sex In Car With A Student
Kelly Ann Abdo, a former math teacher and volleyball coach, was arraigned yesterday on charges of indecent exposure and having sex with a student in Monroe County, Michigan.
Abdo was accused of having sex with a student in a car outside of a house party with a number of minors in attendance. Students at the party told the prosecutor in the case that their actions were in plain sight and that they witnessed the pair naked in the car together.
Kelly Ann Abdo plead "not guilty" to the charges against her. The next court hearing in the case is scheduled for February 19, 2009.
Abdo was placed on paid administrative leave from the school district after she was accused of the wrongdoing in May.
In a separate case, the prosecutor's office said Kelly Ann Abdo is also being investigated for having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 17 year old student, but she hasn't officially been charged with a crime.
