The Jonas Brothers Enjoy Giving Back
Nick Jonas , Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas are very aware of just how fortunate they really are.
The family based trio has always believed in the concept of philanthropy and have done their part to give back to their fans and strangers. The band is active with the Make-A-Wish program, among other charitable organizations.
Nick Jonas, 16, recently told Tiger Beat, "Anytime we can do something to help other people, to have a voice and have an influence, it's really an honor."
Joe, 19, said, "We met this girl who came to our meet and greet in a wheelchair. You'd think she would have been sad, but she had the biggest smile on her face and she was so happy to be there. It's a really cool feeling. That's why we do this."
The Jonas Brothers' latest album A Little Bit Longer is certified Platinum in the United States and certified Gold on the Mexican and Spanish albums chart.
The Jonas Brothers will be performing live at the Foro Sol in Mexico City, Mexico on December 20. They'll also perform at the Disney Christmas Parade on December 25, 2008 and on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on December 31, 2008.
