Giant Sea Spider

Marine research ships in the deep sea have included some impressive specimens, including a giant sea spider.

So far none of the creatures have been identified. But reports of a sea spider that is the size of a dinner plate sure do give people pause for thought.

The sea creatures were found 1,000 feet or more down. The sea's floor is considered to be one of the vast unexplored regions of Earth. These amazing discoveries seem to indicate this sentiment is true.

Scientists are getting their hands on these creatures before environmental changes wreak permanent destruction.

"It is predicted that the first effects of this will be seen in the cold, deep waters of Antarctica," according to Martin Riddle.
