Madonna And Guy Ritchie Say Divorce Settlement Not That Big
This week reports indicated that Madonna and Guy Ritchie had settled their divorce and Ritchie would receive between $76 and $92 million for his part of the settlement.
Now reps for both the 50 year old singer and the 40 year old directory deny the amount.
"We have tried to maintain a dignified silence regarding the details of our divorce for the last few months whilst accepting the obvious media interest," the ex-couple said in a joint statement.
"A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued to AP this week."
After saying the published amount is wrong, they don't clarify the number.
"The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement. Our primary concern, like any co-parents, is the care and well being of our children."
The couple is still battling over final custody arrangements of their 3 children.
