A senior U.S. official said there is a nine day window of opportunity to shoot down the broken Raytheon satellite, but today did not offer good enough weather to attempt the shot. The Pentagon has earlier stated that at best they will have one or two shots to take daily until the 29th. At that point, it will be too late.
