Milt Romney Accuses Al Sharpton Of Bigotry
It's usually Al Sharpton who points the finger at people concerning their bigotry. But now the shoe's on the other foot as Milt Romney accuses Sharpton of being bigoted against Mormons.

As Mr. Romney, who is a Mormon, campaigned in northern and central Iowa, reporters sought his reaction to what Mr. Sharpton had said during a debate on atheism and religious beliefs with columnist Christopher Hitchens, the author of a new book, “God is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything,” at the New York Public Library on Monday. “As for the one Mormon running for office, those that really believe in God will defeat him anyway, so don’t worry about that,” said Mr. Sharpton. “That’s a temporary situation.” Some critics called on Mr. Sharpton to apologize, but the civil rights activist refused to back down today in a telephone interview, asserting that he was not implying that Mormons did not believe in God.
At the root of the debate, of course, is whether intolerance should be tolerated at any level. Do you think that Sharpton should be chastised for his remarks?
