Kylie Minogue Denies Affair With Alexander Dahm

Kylie Minogue has made a public statement in order to put a rest to speculation that she's having an affair with Chilean directory Alexander Dahm. Ever since the two were spotted together in a picture published in Chile, there has been a firestorm of controversy. Today, Minogue sought to quell the speculation.

"I have never been unfaithful to a partner and would find it completely immoral to be involved with a married man," said Minogue, who announced her split from French singer and actor Olivier Martinez in February.

Minogue and Dahm have business together, which would explain why they were spotted at a restaurant and in a boat together.

"On her departure from Santiago, Chile, today, Kylie was shocked to see the over-reaction in the worldwide media to her spending time with a male friend and colleague," spokesman Murray Chalmers said.

"Kylie recently took time out from her busy recording schedule for a short break in South America. Whilst there, she met up with her friend, movie producer Mr. Alexander Dahm, with whom she is discussing aspects of a potential film project. "She found speculation in the press that she had been intruding upon an existing relationship particularly offensive."

Minogue was rumored to be completely despondent when she broke up with Olivier, and has been holed up in a gated community in Santiago.
