NHL: Calgary 6, Ottawa 3

CALGARY, Alberta, Dec. 28 (UPI) --

Rene Bourque posted his first NHL hat trick Saturday night and the Calgary Flames beat Ottawa 6-3 to hand the Senators their 11th straight road loss.

Todd Bertuzzi had a goal and an assist, and Andre Roy and Adrian Aucoin scored for the Flames, who have won four of their last five games. Miikka Kiprusoff made 27 saves.

The Flames trailed 2-0 when they went on a scoring spree -- getting three goals within a 2:07 stretch of the second period. Bourque scored two of those goals 58 seconds apart.

Chris Phillips, Jason Spezza and Alexandre Picard scored for the Senators, who have lost seven times in their last nine games.

Alex Auld allowed five goals on 41 shots for Ottawa, which hasn't won on the road since Oct. 30.
