A Colorado Springs high school has banned the sale of the Spike Shooter Energy Drink

Spike Shooter is an energy drink that has the distinction of being the most caffeinated drink on the market. Apparently it was a bit too much for a couple of Colorado Springs high schoolers. They became sick and vomited after drinking the beverage.

The student's illness has prompted the high school to remove the drink at once.

"They of course had this burst of energy," School Principal Jill Martin said. "But when they came down they almost couldn't function one girl got wheeled out of the classroom she could barely walk steady."

Spike Shooter is made by Colorado Springs based Biotest Laboratories.
