Ford Motor Company has issued a recall on 470,000 Mustangs
Today the Ford Motor Company issued a recall on almost half a million Mustang Sports Cars. It affects model years 2005- 2008.
The passenger airbag is the reason for the recall. According to Ford, if a passenger isn't wearing his seatbelt and the airbag deploys it could cause injury, although the company says there have been no reports thus far.
Ford has taken steps to recalibrate the force of the air bag. Notices will be mailed to those that own affected cars with further instructions on fixing the issue.
