FAR HILLS, N.J., Jan. 8 (UPI) --
The United States Golf Association announced Thursday that the 2010 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship will be played at Michigan's Egypt Valley Country Club.
The USGA also said the 2011 tournament will be at the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Washington state.
Egypt valley is at Ada near Grand Rapids in western Michigan.
The club has two courses, Ridge and Valley. It has been the site of several USGA qualifiers, and a Champions Tour event was played there from 1994 to 2004.
Both the Ridge and Valley courses will be used for the Junior championships next year.
"We are excited to have the first USGA championship in the Grand Rapids and western Michigan area," said John O'Donovan, general chairman of the 2010 event.
Gold Mountain at Bremerton, Wash., was the site of the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship in 2006.
The 2009 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship will be played July 20-25 at Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey.
