Keylime Cove Water Park

Gurnee Water Park Keylime Cove - America's Most Exciting Indoor Water Resort Opens In Gurnee, Illinois

There are many states in our great nation that don't have beautiful weather year-round. For people who live in these places, indoor waterparks are saving the day. And every few months, it seems, a new and exciting waterpark opens.

The new 65,000 square foot Keylime Cover Water Park in Gurnee, Illinois promises to be exciting to the whole family. No expense was spared building the resort, which cost $135.4 million to complete.

"KeyLime Cove isn't just a water resort, it's a tropical town complete with the best of everything for all ages, from great restaurants to incredible waterslides," said Dave Anderson, the visionary behind KeyLime Cove and the founder of the Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que and Rainforest Cafe restaurant chains. "And we are thrilled to finally revealit to our guests."

The waterpark is also the first cashless one in the country, using advanced Smart Band RFID technology.

There will be food for the whole family, with The Crazy Toucan Margarita Grill and D.W. Anderson's Ice Cream Parlor and Eatery open for culinary enjoyment.

Keylime Cove opens today, February 29th., 2008.
