The Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival opens in Banff, Alberta in May

The Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival heads to the Canadian Rockies, to the thrill of many.

$15 bucks will get you into the Grand Tasting Hall at The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, where you can begin tasting.

"We're seeing a lot of excitement from local restaurants and bars for the festival," says Julie Canning, CEO and President of Banff Lake Louise Tourism. "People in the community are really rallying around the opportunity to showcase their best wine, food and fun, and many are planning to host individual events that weekend."
