Obama Family Dog To Be "Labradoodle" Or "Portuguese Water Hound,'
The family of Barack Obama will soon have a new dog, and the choices of breed have been whittled down to "Labradoodle" or a "Portuguese Water Hound."
President-elect Obama promised his young daughters Sasha and Malia a new dog when he was on the campaign trail. He told them they'd be able to get a new dog when the family moved to Washington officially.
"They seem to have narrowed it down to a Labradoodle or a Portuguese water hound," the president-elect said. He added, "we're closing in on it. This has been tougher than finding a Commerce secretary."
Labradoodles are a faily common dog known for being cute. Here's a video of a Labradoodle in action.
Portugese water hounds are much less well known. They are a hypoallergenic breed known for their intelligence and good natures.
