Ann Coulter On The View
Ann Coulter appeared on The View today, and clashed with show's hosts. Coulter was on the show promoting her new book Guilty. Barbara Walters introduced her as a controversial author and the Whoopi Goldberg quickly got into it with her about single mothers.
Ann Coulter said that single mothers have increased since the 1970s, and she blamed it on "the liberals." Of course the women of The View are largely liberal in their leanings, so fireworks were bound to happen.
As happens in many such cases, the conversation quickly turned into a "let me talk" type of discussion. Coulter mentioned several times that she was feeling attacked, a charge that the hosts denied.
TV like this is enough to make you want to throw your idiot box right out the window.
