The Rolling Stones made a huge blunder in 1969 when the authorized the Rolling Stones to handle security for their concert at the Altamont Speedway. The Angels were extremely aggressive with fans, and after drinking all night, began getting violent with patrons. The violence was so bad, it left one dead. After the concert, the Rolling Stones vowed never to use the Hell's Angels for security again. The Angels, for their part, were so upset by the treatment of Mick Jagger after Altamont, decided to launch a plot to kill him at his Long Island home. The whole story of what happened next will be told on March 4th on the BBC in a new radio show. "The Hells Angels were so angered by Jagger's treatment of them that they decided to kill him," Tom Mangold, who is the announcer of the show. The Hell's Angels decided to attack Jagger by Sea. "The boat was hit by a storm and all of the men were thrown overboard," he said. The men all lived, but gave up the efforts to kill Jagger. Liked this story? grab
