Twilight DVD Release Date Announced - Pre-Order Now!
The Vampire saga stars Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, Kellan Lutz as Emmett Cullen, Billy Burke as Charlie Swan, Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black, Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale and Ashley Green as Alice Cullen.
Twilight opened in American theaters on November 21, 2008 and broke box office records. The movie has grossed over $297 million dollars worldwide, to date.
The excitement for Twilight's DVD release has been building up, and Summit Entertainment just announced the 2 disc Special Edition Twilight DVD will be available on March 21, 2009. The 2 disc film features deleted scenes, audio commentary from Catherine Hardwicke, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Five extended scenes, three trailers, 2 videos and other bonus features not available at the theater.

Summit Entertainment confirmed plans to produce New Moon, a sequel to Twilight. The film begins production in March and has a theatrical release date of November 20, 2009.
In the sequel, Taylor Lautner will take a leading role as Jacob Black. Lautner has taken the role very seriously. He recently told interviewers that he's been lifting weights and gaining weight to fit into the shoes Jacob's character. Other major cast are returning to reprise their respected characters.
Twilight was directed by Catherine Hardwicke and screenplay was by Melissa Rosenberg.Twilight and New Moon are both based on novels of the same names written by Stephenie Meyer.
