Twilight DVD Release - 59 Days And Counting!
The countdown to the DVD release of Twilight is on!
There are 59 days left until the Twilight Two-Disc Special Edition DVD is released.
The special edition Twilight DVD is packed with special features, including commentary from the film's director, Catherine Hardwicke, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
The special edition DVD is in widescreen mode, and features five deleted scenes and five extended scenes with director introductions.
Other features include Paramore's music video, Decode, Muse music video, Super Massive Black Hole and Linkin Park's Leave Out All the Rest music video.
If all of this isn't enough to send Twilight fans over the moon, they can also enjoy a seven part documentary titled The Adventure Begins: The Journey from Page to Screen, three trailers and other special features.
Twilight stars Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, a 108 year old vampire that appears to be a 17 year old that has superhuman powers. Kristen Stewart plays Bella Swan, Edward's love interest. Supporting cast include Cam Gigandet as James, Kellen Lutz as Emmett Cullen, Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black, Peter Facinelli as Carlisle Cullen, Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Hale and Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen.
Summit Entertainment continues the Twilight saga with the sequel New Moon which begins production In March. The movie is set for a November 20, 2009 theatrical release.
The Twilight series is based on novels written by author, Stephenie Meyer.
Unlike other DVD's, Twilight will be released on a Saturday - typically new DVDs are released on Tuesday, making it even more enchanting. It will be widely available on March 21, 2009.
