At his advanced age, Hugh Hefner isn't one to pine away over lost love.

The 82 year old founder of Playboy has three new girlfriends - twin sisters, Kristina and Karissa Shannon and Crystal Harris, to get to know after Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt, his last batch of girlfriends, moved out of the Playboy mansion last year.

Hef told E!, "The best solution to lost love is new love."

Even though three girlfriends in one mansion might be a lot to handle, Hugh isn't ruling out the possibility of adding more lovely ladies to his humble abode. He said, "We don't have anyone in particular, but it's always possible. There was one point when I had seven girlfriends."

Crystal Harris moved in shortly after meeting Hugh Hefner at a Halloween party and is considered his 'head' girlfriend. He contacted the Shannon twins after hearing that they were interested in 'dating' him and the twins also made the big move.

As for Hugh's ex-girlfriends, Holly Madison moved out last fall and is engaged to Las Vegas illusionist, Criss Angel, Kendra Wilkinson is engaged to NFL player Hank Baskett and Bridget Marquardt is busy doing her own thing.

Although Hef admitted that he could have married Holly, he holds no grudges against Criss Angel. He told the mag,
"It has to do with timing. I've been married twice. Those are not the happiest times of my life, and I just don't want to screw up another.
She had a very good chance because I think she would've made a very good wife and will make a good wife to Criss or whoever she winds up with."

Hefner has four children. His oldest daughter, Christie, served as CEO of Playboy Enterprises since 1988. She recently announced that she's stepping down from the position on January 31, 2009.
