The Pussycat Dolls have lost a member. Carmit Bachar recently announced that she was leaving the band. Carmit performed as a singer and announced her departure on the group's official website.

"I wanted to be the first to tell you that I'm no longer with the Pussycat Dolls but we will always be sisters forever," Bachar wrote. She also thanked her fans for their unconditional love and support.

Bachan offered no explanation for the sudden split with the group, but it's being speculated that Carmit is looking to develop her solo career.
