Courtney Lockhart has been charged with the murder of Lauren Burk

An Iraq War Veteran has been charged in the death of Lauren Burk. Courtney Lockhart will be arraigned at 3pm and officially charged with the murder of the Auburn student.

Courtney Lockhart's mother, Catherine Williams, apologized to the victim's family, despite the fact he has not yet confessed for the crime.

"I am sorry that Courtney did that. ... First let me say I'm sorry to the Burk family for Courtney taking, taking their child. ... My heart goes out to her family," Williams said.
