Jelani Jenkins To Florida Gators
Jelani Jenkins announced his intent to become a Florida Gator today. National Signing Day is the day when prospects commit themselves to college.
Jelani Jenkins hails from Olney, Maryland and played linebacker for Our Lady Of Good Counsel High School.
Jenkins is 16 years old and stands 6'2" and weighs 220 pounds. He is listed as a Top 10 prospect at most major draft rating services.
Jenkins was a 2009 Under-Armour All-American.
"It's a great program," Jenkins said about Florida. "I felt comfortable with all the coaches, all the players, and it's great weather."
