Miley Cyrus On Cyber Bashing
Miley Cyrus is no stranger to criticism on the internet. In fact, the 16 year old entertainer seems to invite it with pictures of her appearing in compromising poses, either alone or with friends.
Lucky for her, Miley recently got the chance to talk with M magazine about how she deals with all of the online bashing.
She told the magazine, "It's hard to be hated on."
"When I read all the cyber-bashing stuff about me on the internet, I try to remember that I'm not alone. It's like, whatever. All of the cyber-hating
is just an easy way for the mean people to try and get to you, because they don't actually say the stuff to your face."
As for defending herself, Miley says she tries not to get into it. She continued, "I can't really do much, like say nasty things back, because
it makes me as bad them. So I try to just ignore it, since I know what's being said isn't what's real."
Recently leaked photos caught Miley and a group of her friends making 'slanty eyes' and caused quite a stir with her Asian fans. This photograph, like her semi-nude photos that appeared in Vanity Fair, are real and are black marks are on her 'white as the driven snow' public image.
Miley Cyrus deals with her public criticism the best she know how. She dishes, "You've got to just go with the flow. I'm going to stay true to myself. My mom used to always give me that advice, and you know, it's really, really true."
Lucky for the world at large, Miley staying true to herself brings out her country upbringing and a number of bad judgment calls. I can only imagine what we can expect to happen after she turns 18, with or without cyber haters.
