Miley Cyrus - The Media Is Picking On Me!
Miley Cyrus has finally weighed in on the recent controversy surrounding a photo she appeared in. In the snap, Miley and a group of her friends are shown making "slanty-eyes" at the camera. In the photo, one lone Asian sits there. He, of course, is not doing the gesture.
Here's the photo of Miley and friends apparently mocking Asians
"In NO way was I making fun of any ethnicity! I was simply making a goofy face. When did that become newsworthy?" Miley writes on her blog. "It seems someone is trying to make something out of nothing to me. If that would of been anyone else, it would of been overlooked! I definitely feel like the press is trying to make me out as the new 'BAD GIRL'!"
Miley thinks it's merely a matter of the media going after her. This appears to be a weak excuse at best. If the girl would stop appearing in offensive and/or controversial photos, there would be nothing to say.
"I feel like now that Britney is back on top of her game again, they need someone to pick on! Lucky me! haha Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know what is on my heart. You guys know me and have been by my side every step of the way!," she continued.
Miley seems to want to blame others for her own actions, rather than admit that what she did was probably offensive to an entire group of people.
With an attitude like that, we'll be hearing a lot more about her over the years. In a bad way!
