Amy Fisher And Joey Buttafuoco Have Re-United - You Have To Be Kidding

Amy Fisher and Joey Buttafuoco have to be one of the worst couples in history, if not THE worst. To hear these two are re-uniting is simply mind-boggling to me. This is like hearing that Day and Night have re-conciled or Love and Hate are now the same thing. These two need each other the way most people need additional holes drilled into their heads.

Let's review what happened the first time they hooked up

Without even going into all of the grimy details, their first relationship ended with one woman shot in the face, and another in prison. After all the years of supposed soul-searching, to find the two back together is truly disturbing.

First, we learned that Joey was getting divorced from his wife of two years. And check out the last item:

Joey Buttafuoco's wife of two years has filed for divorce. Evanka Buttafuoco filed papers in L.A. County Superior Court asking for dissolution of marriage based on irreconcilable differences. Joey Buttafuoco was released from a three-month stint in L.A. County jail on April 28. On May 4, Evanka told the New York Post, "I'm going to file for divorce. There's been a turn of events." Her soon to be ex-husband told the paper, "All I can say is two words: I'm devastated. That's all I can say. I'm very sad."

Coincidentally, Amy Fisher — who had an affair with Joey Buttafuoco and shot his wife in the head in 1992 — is separating from her husband, sources tell the New York Post. Really, I doubt this was a co-incidence at all. I'm sure we'll learn more in the next few months to indicate these two have been more cozy than we realize. The real victim in all this, again, is poor Mary Jo, who actually put up with Joey's lies for years. And now she has to read about how the dangerous duo are back together.

We're dating," proclaimed Fisher, who was all of 17 when she shot Buttafuoco's first wife, Mary Jo, in the head while having her illicit affair with the then-38-year-old Joey. "He doesn't kiss all his friends like that," Fisher told "The Insider."

So now the two are getting publicity for their public "hookup" and I can only hope it's for publicity. At least Amy Fisher said she doesn't want to bring any more kids into the world, so we at least have that to be thankful for. Hopefully this trainwreck relationship will derail before we're forced to read much more about it.
