Dakota Fanning Excited By New Moon Prospect
Dakota Fanning is excited by the prospect of playing Jane, a vampire in New Moon, the sequel to 2008's blockbuster hit film, Twilight.
She told In Touch magazine, "I really hope it'll work out."
Dakota admitted, "I'm a big fan of the actors in the film and to be a part of that would be a great privilege."
Twilight and New Moon star Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, Kellan Lutz as Emmett Cullen and Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black.
If Dakota is chosen to play the part of Jane, she has her work cut out for her. She revealed, "I haven't read all four books yet."
New Moon begins production in March and has a tentative release date of November 20, 2009. Twilight has been in theaters for 11 weeks and has grossed $348,475,618 in worldwide ticket sales. New Moon and Twilight are both based on
novels of the same titles, written by Stephenie Mayer.
