Busta Rhymes Sentenced For Assault

The sentence has been handed down for rapper Busta Rhymes
The rapper had been facing a myriad of charges in New York for two separate assault incidents from 2007. Compounding the trouble, he was also charged with DUI and driving on a suspended license.
The rapper, real name Trevor Smith, was sentenced to the following:
- Three years of probation
- Must complete 10 days of community service
- Ordered to pay a $1,250 fine and court costs
- Enroll in a drunken driving program
As the sentencing ended, Judge Larry Stephen told him that if he screwed up he would be going to jail.
Smith seemed happy for the break.
"I couldn't feel better, and this couldn't have happened at a better time. I thank the judge for giving me a chance and I thank everybody for being supportive."
