Steven Sueppel sought

A woman and all of her four children were found dead in Iowa City, Iowa. At 6:31am, dispatchers were called and told they had to go to the home. The caller hung up from the call. When the police went to the home, they found the bodies inside. The man of the house, Steven Sueppel, could not be found.

Steven Sueppel, although not at home, aroused suspicion because he was indicted on federal charges of stealing $560,000 from his place of employment last week.

Sueppel, was the vice president and controller of Hills Bank and Trust until charged with theft. He was scheduled to appear in court on charges on April 21st.

So far the police have not named any official suspects and have not released the cause of death of the 5 murder victims.
