Cesar Chavez spent his life helping the "little guy." Farm workers, especially migrant ones, have always had tough times making a living. Cesar Chavez made their lives a little easier. For his efforts, he is being remember today.
People in Stockton, California remember Cesar Chavez, and the impact he had on their lives.
On Cesar Chavez Day, they even read a quote from Cesar Chavez himself. "To make a great dream come true, the first requirement is a great capacity to dream; the second requirement is perseverance," said Chavez.
