Harrison Hardbody Norris
by Lupe Lasano in crime

Former Professional Wrestler Harrison Hardbody Norris has been sentenced to life in prison
A former professional wrestler who went by the name "Hardbody Harris" has been sentenced to life in prison by a federal jury. He was found guilty of a scheme to force women into prostitution.

The jury convicted him on conspiracy, witness tampering, aggravated sexual abuse, forced labor, and sex trafficking involving eight different women. The 41 year old acted as his own lawyer during his trial.
The accusations against Hardbody Harrison were quite stunning. He was said to have kept up to eight women prisoner at one time, forcing them to clean his house and act as prostitutes.
U.S. Attorney David E. Nahmias remarked about the sentencing: "Defendant Norris ran a forced prostitution ring in which women were sexually assaulted, held in debt, and forced to work and perform sex acts against their will. This heinous conduct deserved the severe sentence handed down today. Human trafficking removes an individual’s freedom to choose and can have long-lasting, psychological effects on the victims. In this case numerous victims were brave enough to come forward and testify at trial against their captor and abuser, defendant Norris. The jury specifically found aggravated sexual abuse by defendant Norris and the judge entered a sentence that should deter others from exploiting their fellow human beings."
