This is completely backwards...I wouldnt care, but NO, you cant just be something out of the blue because one day at 24 you decide to...she was a LESBIAN ACTIVIST who survived in the world as a female for 24 years. Real transgendered people have these shameful, painful feelings since childhood, theyre born like that and have often failing or no relationships until becoming their true selves. A true male brain has no maternal instincts and has wiring that tells you that a phallus should be there when you look down. Its how you naturally think and interact with the world since birth. BEATTIE IS A QUEER....I did NOT go through all this pain to have a self-made hermaphrodite make a joke out of it and give further reason to consider these life saveing, "sex change" operations as "cosmetic choices"... I'll be in the poor house unless someone separates people who just want to live quiet, normal lives from attention-seeking, immature "rebels" like Beattie.

I just want to say that I support Thomas Beatie's decision 100%, regardless of whether or not other people personally agree with his decision. I think that Thomas Beatie should be able to identify as whatever he wants because it's his life and his body, and no one else has the right to tell him how to live his life. Do you want somebody telling you how to live your life? I know I don't, and I'm pretty sure that Thomas doesn't either.

Sometimes, I wish the self-proclaimed male named "Thomas Beatie" would switch back to his true form, which is a female, by the name of "Tracy LaGondino." Seeing a man, especially a transsexual, being pregnant is really an eyesore. I miss Tracy and I want her back. I'd rather that she'd be a lesbian than to be a transman.
