Jonas Brothers Talk About Love
The Jonas Brothers are already famous for their music. Now the band is asserting their expertise in the field of love. Recently M talked to the Jobros about a subject near and dear to the hearts of their female fans.
The Jonas Brothers realize that females can be a confusing lot.
"It drives us crazy when girls always say 'Oh, I'm so overweight!' or when they don't eat around us because they're too embarrassed," said Joe Jonas, 19. "That really bug us. We like girls who believe they are beautiful – because they are! Girls should be confident in themselves."
The Jonas Brothers are known throughout the world for their sense of fashion. Obviously they must be into girls who are into fashion, then.
"We really love when girls wear the 'leggings under the skirt' look – it's fun!" said Kevin Jonas, 21. "Skirts and sundresses are cute during the spring and our favorite color on a girl is red! That will definitely get you noticed by us."
Jonas Brother music is filled with love songs. It's easy to wonder where the inspiration for such music comes from. The brothers attribute some of their successful song ideas to encounters with fans.
"The song 'Tonight' was actually inspired by our fans," said Nick Jonas, 16. "It's about not being happy and having to let go of a person. We think about what fans have told us they've been through, and then we sit down and write about it."
The JoBros have been the victims of cruel barbs from many comedians due to their "purity rings." But they don't seem to bothered by it.
"Comedians will make jokes about us at award shows and we just laugh it off because it's their job," said Joe Jonas. "It's kind of flattering. It's like 'Wow, they used me as their prop.' So it's really cool."
