Today the Cleveland, Ohio area went into gridlock when Papa John's offered large one item pizzas for a mere $.23. The one day deal was to "apologize" to Cleveland Cavalier fans for a jab taken at LeBron James.

Lines of people waiting for the twenty three cent pizza quickly formed outside all branches of Papa John's, some as long as 1,500 people. Some civil unrest came with the promotion. Line jumpers were heckled and at least one man was arrested. Police were on the scene at a number of locations to direct traffic and make sure that no one got hurt in the pursuit of cheap pizza. Wait time was as long as three hours.

For all that work, it might have been easier to order from a competitor and have it delivered.. even if it cost $20.00. I hate standing in lines.. a pizza doesn't warrant that much of my time.
