New Postage Rates

New postage rates go into effect today

You'll be paying more to mail a letter as domestic mail products and prices have been increased.

Postage rates on a domestic letter have increased by one cent to 42 cents a letter, effective today, Monday, May 12th., 2008.

The only way you won't pay more letters today, is if you already took advantage of the U.S. Postal service's "Forever Stamp", which cost 41 cents and could be used to send mail at that rate "forever."

The Postal Service said that they sold 64 million Forever Stamps each day in April.
