BERKELEY, Calif., March 1 (UPI) --

Darren Collison had 22 points and No. 19 UCLA took sole possession of second place in the Pac-10 Saturday night with a 72-68 victory over California.

Josh Shipp, Nikola Dragovic and Alfred Aboya had 12 points apiece, while Aboya grabbed nine rebounds and Dragovic added seven boards for the Bruins (22-7, 11-5 Pac-10).

Jerome Randle finished with 20 points and eight assists, while Patrick Christopher had 16 points and Theo Robertson scored 14 for the Golden Bears (21-8, 10-6).

The Bruins went on a 13-0 second-half spree -- highlighted by a pair of 3-pointers by Dragovic and a 3-point play by Collison -- to come back from a 53-49 disadvantage. Cal got within three points when Randle nailed a 3-pointer with 16.1 seconds left, but the Golden Bears could not score after that.
