Jennifer Aniston never quite gets over her divorce from Brad Pitt. Although she claims she doesn't like talking about the subject, she almost always finds her way back to its' comforting embrace. Jennifer Aniston doesn't just beat a dead horse when it comes to Pitt and Jolie, she's happy to beat the memory of the grease spot where the dead horse used to lie!

Aniston, 40, says it's not her who keeps bringing up the subject. She only talks about the divorce because people are so interested.

"'No matter what I say, things will always be taken out of context and misinterpreted, will always be turned around to make it seem as though I won’t let something go, or that I just keep talking about it over and over," she told Elle UK.

In case Jennifer doesn't know, celebrities have certain rights and can always grant interviews “with conditions.” If she really wanted to quit gabbing about ex-husband Brad Pitt and his favorite gal-pal, Angelina Jolie, she could do so merely by doing so.

It sounds like it won't be long before she brings up the subject again.

Wait for it.

"I don’t owe anybody my side of the story,” she continued. “There are no sides! There is no bad guy and there is no good guy. There are no villains and there is no heroine in this story. It’s just not the case."

There we go again! The infernal marriage. Since Aniston knew Brad Pitt for years before she married him, certainly she was aware of his proclivity for dating leading ladies. Yet the issue persists. Maybe Aniston and Angelina Jolie should arrange for a "sit down." Meetings like these have been known to squash bitter rivalries before.

OK! proposed a theory this week that Aniston and Pitt are still in love, and that's why Aniston has never moved on. They cite a moment at the Oscars where Aniston and Pitt's eyes met, if only briefly.

"Once her eyes met Brad's that night, it rekindled all the old feelings," said an insider. "She has never stopped loving Brad."

That certainly would explain a few things.

"Just because Brad was swept off his feet by Angelina, it didn't mean he ever stopped loving Jen," the source added. "He has this obsession with Angelina and felt he had to explore a relationship with her."

This obsession has left poor Jen all alone. Okay, not completely alone. She has John Mayer as a consolation prize, but that's likely because he loves hearing her tell stories about Pitt. "So what's he really like?" he probably whispers into her ears each night.

And when he does, Jen's eyes light up and she gets out her favorite "dead horse whip" and regales him with the fable of Hollywood love long lost.
