Stevie Nicks Is No Fan Of Technology
LOS ANGELES, Ca., Mar. 4 (TOTI) --

Stevie Nicks, of Fleetwood Mac fame, is a legendary rocker that has made music that's stood the test of time. Now she's on the road again with Fleetwood Mac and when asked by Rolling Stone about what she thinks of the current record industry, she had an interesting take.

"The Internet has destroyed it," she said. "I miss buying an album and lying on the floor for three days and going over it with a magnifying glass."

For Nicks, 60, digital music doesn't come close to the old-school experience of going to music stores and buying music.

"I still go to the record store and spend hours there and buy a big bag of CDs," she said.

Not only that, but she thinks modern women would be better off with less technology. That way they could maintain an air of mystery about themselves.

"I don't have a computer or cell-phone, because I don't want to be that available to anybody," she said. "I'm all about mystery. Little girls think it's necessary to put all their business on MySpace and Facebook, and I think it's a shame."
