Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Have Been Busy This Week
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and the rest of the Twilight gang were in Tokyo this past weekend meeting fans. Japanese fans got a chance to ask questions of their favorite Twilight stars.
Soon it was Kristen Stewart's turn to answer the fans. At this point a nervous young woman wanted to know the answer to that truly burning question: “What did it feel like to be bitten by Robert Pattinson?”
Kristen Stewart replied with a question of her own: "Well, how do you think it felt?
Before the question was translated into Japanese, she thought better of her answer and said: "So much better. I don't know."
When asked if it was better to be bitten or kissed by Robert, she said simply “I don't know.”
After the promotional jaunt to Tokyo, Robert Pattinson quickly re-appeared in sunny Los Angeles, where he eluded photographers on Tuesday as he ran errands. Of course even the world's dumbest paparazzi had no trouble spotting him. They snapped his pic relentlessly.
Robert had a chance to expound on why he seems so natural in American parts.
“All of my favorite actors are American and I grew up watching American movies,” he said. “It’s weird I used to do a New Jersey accent in every audition in America, because I liked it. It’s completely bizarre and everybody would ask: ‘Where are you from?’ And I would say, ‘Oh, I’m from London!’”
Meanwhile, Billy Burke, who played Bella Swan's dad in Twilight, has plenty of casting ideas concerning future installments in the series.
"I would love to have Dakota Fanning in the movie," Burke told People. "She's one of the most talented young actors that's come around in ages."
Burke had nothing but praise for Kristen Stewart's acting ethic.
"We get along in this weird ethereal way that I haven't gotten along with any costar before," Burke said. "She brings something that makes me want to go to work."
Kristen also spent Tuesday running errands in L.A., where she said she would make do if she ever had to leave the Twilight franchise behind.
"I've totally had the thought; it would be so easy for me to send so many hundreds of girls into such a frenzy by saying I want no part of any future Twilight movies," she said.
"It took a long time for me to admit that I was too bogged down by the first book, to admit to these girls that I wasn't as... I'm just as obsessed as they are; I read it from an entirely different perspective and had to live it for three months. Yeah, I have thought, many times. 'What could I do?' It'd be so easy."
