Robert Pattinson Passes On Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton is a girl that enjoys a good party and meeting hot eligible men, but it seems her socialite status wasn't enough to woo Twilight star, Robert Pattinson away from the crowds at a February 22 bash in Los Angeles.
A source told Star, "Paris was on a mission - she kept chasing him around like a little puppy."
22 year old Robert had other things on his mind - primarily drinking.
The source continued, "He was beyond wasted. He couldn't keep track of who he was talking to and couldn't have cared less about her."
Paris' reputation precedes her and beer goggles weren't enough to lure Robert into Paris' web. "No matter how drunk he was, Rob knew better than to hook up with her."
Pattinson and Hilton had a brief private encounter at the event, but Pattinson called on his character, Edward Cullen's, superpower of quickness to avoid her for the rest of the evening.
"It was hilarious. Paris couldn't find him after that and she kept walking around asking people where he went."
Not one to waste time over uninterested men, Paris has already moved on with a different man, new boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt.
Avoiding all discretion, Paris, 28 and her new boytoy were recently photographed making out in a car like a couple of teenagers.
Robert Pattinson remains single and begins production of New Moon this month. The second film in the Twilight saga opens in theaters on November 20, 2009.
