Pop star Rihanna is being pressured by friends and family to leave her boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, for allegedly beating her in Los Angeles, a source says.

An unidentified source close to Rihanna said since she apparently has decided to remain romantically linked to Brown, some of those close to her are concerned how that decision could impact her career, the New York Daily News reported Saturday.

"It's very troubling to her family, her friends and her handlers," the source said Friday.

"Everybody's up in arms about her about-face. Some people think it could pose an obstacle to her career."

The insider also revealed that Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, remains undecided whether or not she will help the district attorney prosecute Brown on charges from the alleged Feb. 8 incident.

"Rihanna goes back and forth about whether she'll cooperate with the DA, or how much," the source told the Daily News.

"There are days when she wakes up and says, 'I have to do this.' But, other days, she is willing to give Chris a break."
