Parkersburg Tornado
A Tornado hits Parkersburg, Iowa
A tornado touched down in Parkersburg, Iowa and killed 5 people. The tornado also did enormous damage in New Hartford, before it dissipated.
Damage was severe. Houses were hit and so were public facilities. Golf-ball sized hail even hit after the tornado.
"Early reports indicate that these communities have suffered severe and widespread damage, and I plan to visit the region very soon to offer my support to those affected," said Chet Culver.
