The items that were damaged included memorabilia King Kong, the giant ape from Skull Island, the courtyard used in "Spider-Man 2" and ``Bruce Almighty'' and a tape vault. The company hasn't yet estimated damages from the fire. "There's still a lot of smoke," said company rep Elliot Sekuler, who was watching firefighters put out the flames at about noon. ``The tape vault still appears to be burning. From what I understand there were no original materials in it. Many of them were salvaged." There appears to be a lot of damage to the archive of NBC TV shows stored at the facility, so the fire might end up erasing some important parts of TV history. Liked this story? grab
