Barack Obama Jay Leno Special Olympics Joke
Barack Obama made an unprecedented appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He's the first President ever to appear on a late night talk show and his appearance is not without its share of controversy.
"Has the White House bowling alley yet been burned and closed down?" asked Leno.
"No, no. I have been practicing . . . I bowled a 129," replied Obama.
"That’s very good, Mr. President," said Leno.
"It’s like — it was like Special Olympics, or something," said Obama.
Of course that statement could easily offend many, so his office quickly issued an apology.
